# EVE – Eco Village Enterprise

> A welcoming home for community life. EVE connects everyday community life — shared meals, tasks, and agreements — with quiet operational stewardship and self-hosted privacy. Designed for eco-villages, cohousing initiatives, and resilient communities.

EVE is an offline-first operating system and community platform created specifically for intentional communities, eco-villages, cohousing projects, and regenerative settlements. It balances human autonomy with collective responsibility, providing tools that serve village life rather than replacing it with screens.

## Core Ecosystem Modules

1. **Community Hub** (`https://ecove.app/#everyday-life`):
   - The resident-facing daily portal.
   - Coordinates shared communal meals, work shifts, gatherings, and celebrations.
   - Surfaces open village tasks with easy self-assignment.
   - Houses living community agreements, consensus records, and local guidelines.
   - Runs comfortably on any mobile device down to 360px viewport width.

2. **EVE Admin** (`https://ecove.app/#organizing`):
   - The operational layer for coordinators, working circles, and village councils.
   - Task assignment, project milestone tracking, and volunteer shift oversight.
   - Secure repository for documented agreements, council minutes, and policies.
   - Member directories, guest onboarding, and accommodation management.
   - Simple, reliable administration without bureaucratic overhead.

3. **Nexus Intelligence & Resident Assistance** (`https://ecove.app/#assistance`):
   - Practical, privacy-bounded assistance answering everyday village questions.
   - Directly references documented agreements, meeting notes, and task schedules.
   - Local sensor telemetry: monitors rainwater cistern levels, solar battery charge, and microclimate data.
   - Strict privacy boundary: only accesses explicitly shared community documents; never monitors private resident communications.
   - Local hardware execution: runs 100% offline within the village under the Sovereign Root configuration.

4. **Ecove Matcher** (`https://matcher.ecove.app`):
   - Values-based matching platform connecting individuals, families, and founding teams with aligned communities.
   - Evaluates "Ecosystem DNA" across 17 behavioral, governance, and ecological dimensions.
   - Reverse AI matching: communities discover aligned seekers and send personalized invitations.
   - Onboarding guest bounties: invites seekers for hands-on trial visits before long-term commitments.

## The Panther Guardian Symbolism

- **Why the Panther?**: The black panther is EVE's visual guardian—a symbol of balance, awareness, and harmony with nature.
- **Behavior & Purpose**: Calm and watchful, he notices subtle environmental and operational shifts and stands ready to respond, reflecting how EVE monitors water reservoirs, energy reserves, and village tasks to catch anomalies before disruptions occur.
- **Quiet Decorum**: The guardian never interrupts, lectures, or acts uninvited. Practical human guidance leads; residents can silence or awaken the companion at any time.

## Core Architectural & Ethical Principles

- **Offline-First Resilience**: Full operation on local village hardware (Sovereign Root) with zero cloud dependency. If the regional grid or internet fails, the village continues farming, governing, and coordinating uninterrupted.
- **Data Sovereignty**: 100% community ownership. No tracking, no behavioral ad profiling, no selling of user data, and full JSON data export at any time.
- **Human Connection First**: Technology remains a quiet background utility—like a wooden table on the village square—leaving room for authentic face-to-face relationships.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: European GDPR and Spanish LOPDGDD compliance, EU AI Act Minimal-Risk classification, MiCA mutual credit exemptions.

## Adoption Pathways & Pricing

- **Cloud Seed**: Fully managed European cloud hosting from €15/month (free software license; hosting provided at cost).
- **Hybrid Bridge**: Connects on-site sensors and local mesh coordination with encrypted cloud synchronization (one-time hardware setup + modest sync fee).
- **Sovereign Root**: 100% Free Software self-hosted on your own hardware inside the village. 100% offline-resilient, zero software fees, zero external dependency.
- **Commons Grants**: Fully subsidized installation and hardware support for indigenous initiatives and ecological research sanctuaries.
- **Journeyman Passport (EcoMatch)**: Free exploration with 3 annual applications; optional €10/year passport for unlimited applications across all member villages supporting open-source development.
